NOW HIRING: ACCOUNT MANAGER, SOCIAL MEDIA

About You:

You embrace the ever-changing digital landscape and love working with the latest online platforms and tools for paid and owned social media campaigns. You know how to build a strategy, create compelling content and measure the results. You can confidently analyze the metrics, communicate the results to clients and recommend improvements for future programs. You also have outstanding time management skills and a passion for social media engagement, with an eye toward future opportunities and tactics.

 

In this position, you will lead clients’ social media marketing efforts by creating and executing plans to engage with online audiences and convert them into customers. You will combine the best of organic content, paid social content and influencers to deliver results for clients.

 

You will join a growing team and will supervise one team member.

You may also lead agency digital strategy and social media planning.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Team Leadership and Engagement

  • ‪Supervise one junior team member and aid in their development

  • Participate in team brainstorms

  • Participate in professional development activities

Account Leadership

  • Serve as the day-to-day social media contact for assigned clients, acting as a liaison between clients and internal staff with the goal of customer satisfaction and relationship-building through outstanding delivery of projects and services

  • Plan and manage client budgets and prepare cost estimates for proposed plans

  • Manage and monitor the online reputations of assigned clients

  • Identify threats and opportunities and provide ongoing counsel to clients

  • Develop and deliver on the strategic direction for all initiatives

  • Communicate and report on all client activities and successes

  • Work collaboratively with the client and senior leaders on accounts

  • Maintain good client relations through professionalism and all functions of customer service

  • Manage timelines and resources for incoming/current/ongoing projects

  • Develop detailed project plans including resource plans, processes, procedures, workflow, schedules, infographics and timelines

  • Maintain accountability for resolving client issues, proposing solutions and dissolving potential issues to maintain satisfactory projects and relationships

  • Contribute to new business proposals

Social Media Management

  • Strong command of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc., including community management

  • Strong writing skills, including social content development and short-form copywriting

  • Ability to set clear benchmarks and KPIs, then meet or surpass them

  • Manage long- and short-term social media strategy and activities for multiple accounts

  • Generate compelling, creative content that effectively reaches target markets

  • Identify and source high-quality user-generated content with a strong understanding of best practices and obtaining permission from content owners

  • Understand each individual client and the messages they are trying to send

  • Understand how to identify and collaborate with key influencers and measure results

  • Perform social media audits and prepare regular reports for clients

  • Understand social media data and how to present it to clients

  • Strong command of paid social advertising (including Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns and boosted posts) with the ability to plan, publish, monitor and optimize campaigns

  • Plan and implement social media contests, giveaways and promotions, including a strong understanding of legal requirements

  • Monitor, listen and respond to social comments in a timely manner

  • Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for revising social media strategies

  • Maintain awareness of new social media and digital marketing opportunities, platforms and technologies

  • Manage digital marketing and/or content creation projects with outside vendors

  • Graphic design and social video production skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) strongly preferred

  • Some experience with a broad range of digital marketing tactics preferred, including, but not limited to, email marketing, search engine marketing and SEO content writing

Senior Account Director

 

Qualifications:

  • Agency experience required

  • Must currently be in a social media marketing role and have 3+ years of experience

  • Experience with online monitoring, measurement, web/social analytics tools (Sprout Social is a plus, but not required)

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities across a variety of client accounts

  • Strong attention to detail

  • BA or BS in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or other relevant field

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software preferred
