NOW HIRING: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The ideal Account Executive candidate will execute day-to-day account activities and help the Business Leadership team with activities to support client needs. They help ensure the agency operates on a solid foundation by building strong relationships with client team members and maintain regular client contact. In some instances, they will be asked to lead or be the primary client contact on accounts. They will provide advice and helpful suggestions to AAEs on how to approach a task. They will suggest (new) methods to improve client processes. They will be responsible for supporting new business initiatives when requested. Understands client scope of work, and is responsible for informing manager of any activities that may affect profitability.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrates a thoughtful understanding of client’s business and competitive set and a comprehensive understanding of client’s communication plan components.

Attends and supports meetings, bringing necessary documents and providing comprehensive recap and next steps to the internal team.

Supports senior account team in reporting on trends affecting client businesses, including economic, industry, competitive and cultural factors.

Participates in the development of social, marketing and communication plans.

Coordinates the day-to-day execution of account activities, including writing and disseminating press materials, researching key contacts in clients’ industry, facilitating interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists, monitoring media coverage, reporting media results, etc.

Ensures appropriate client approvals are obtained, as needed.

Maintains client status reports and activity calendars.

Manages expectations on timing and budget, including thorough and accurate budget reconciliation, accurate estimates, invoicing and tracked receivables.

Participates in agency training sessions to improve communications, digital and social media knowledge.

Assists in tracking and monitoring hours on a weekly/monthly basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-
Required 1-3 years industry experience – must include agency experience.

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of AP Style and has a proven ability to write both short-form and long-form writing styles, including but not limited to press releases, blogs, social content, bylined articles, reports, recaps and press materials.

Established track record of successfully coordinating client initiatives.

Capable of presenting recommendations with confidence, both internally with team members and externally with clients.

Must possess an understanding of the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of the client’s business particularly environment/industry through direct and indirect channels.

Being a liaison to multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure integration across the business monitoring, projecting and providing innovative solutions.

Demonstrated financial management of the businesses and ability to facilitate the development of project proposals.

Possess an understanding and ability to navigate both the agency and client matrixes.

Ability to understand and manage complex, multi-channel campaigns across multiple clients.

Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations, objectives, timelines and budgets.

Ability to serve as a resource, willingness to jump in as needed, and be comfortable managing up or down.

Guiding internal/partner teams to deliver integrated solutions from strategy and concept, through to execution, while adequately representing client interests.
