NEWS - 2010

The speed of competition never slows and neither do we. Here's a sampler of what's new with Brandware Public Relations, our clients and partners.

September 2010

Wheego Down Electric Avenue

Today's wealth of transportation choices means you can tailor your wheels to your lifestyle. Want to add an emission-free and affordable electric vehicle to your garage? Atlanta-based Wheego Electric Cars has just the ticket: America's first affordable, crash-tested, highway ready EV solution, the Wheego LiFe. We'll be helping to introduce this spacious car to media and consumers over the next few months.

Assembled in California and chock-full of advanced techonology components from leading suppliers, the spacious LiFe cruises up to 100 miles on a single charge and qualifies for some beefy federal and state tax credits to boot.

April 2010

Continual Growth

For April, we'd like to welcome Kristen Fraser as our newest member of the team. Kristen's background is in hospitality and travel PR, a great foundation for working with our enthusiast brand clients.  We're excited to have her fresh perspective and creative ideas fuel our collective work.

March 2010

Orthodontists Everywhere

The PracticeWorks 2010 Ortho Users' Conference brought more than 860 orthodontists together in Atlanta to network, share experiences and learn about the advantages of 3D digital radiography. Brandware's MarComm Ninja, Andrew Saluke, was on the ground to support the event, and helped the team capture all of the speakers' tips, techniques and advice for PracticeWorks Ortho's Twitter and Facebook communities.

February 2010

Ready for the Briefing

Neither (record) snow, sleet or rain kept the Brandware team office-bound during February. One of our stops was in Washington, D.C. for the annual Consumer Reports 2010 Autos issue unveiling and press conference. Virtually every major network and national media covered the results, from NPR and CNN to Bloomberg and Associated Press. And, for media that couldn’t attend, @CRcars via Twitter offered real-time updates as America’s best – and worst – vehicles were announced.

January 2010

Brandware Lands in Las Vegas, Detroit

The Brandware team attended two of the nation's largest trade shows in January. Between the Consumer Electronics Show and the North American International Auto Show, we faciliated 60+ interviews for our clients with outlets ranging everywhere from Bloomberg to Forbes. Trade shows continue to be an excellent place to reconnect with old industry friends and meet the newest journalists on the beat. In this photo, Hughes Telematics president Erik Goldman interviews with Bob Long of Motor Trend Radio at CES.
